Killing Kermit

Atrazine!
Could it be a hip new zine?
I read after taking my Sertraline?
When I get the skinny on Moss or Delevingne!

Naw man, not even close;
I'll try and say it without being verbose,
Atrizine's a herbicide
Used on corn;
It creates defects in frogs,
So they can't be born!

Atrazine removes a frog's ribbit
And the male frog's sperm count it does inhibit
Atrazine will trigger disease in a human
I'm only the messenger don't call me Newman!

The EPA as well as Health Canada,
Are getting greased by the manufacturer Syngenta!
Government in bed with big biz
Don't sit back while they kill our kids !

Heinous!
Was what researcher Tyrone Hayes used;
To describe how public trust is being abused.
Industry funded research given to the EPA
Was conducted by an EPA panelist getting Syngenta pay

Scandalous for $1000
Alex,
What is;
Conflict of interest;
Don't treat this like a Jeopardy quiz
You got it right
No need to be in show biz

Cara Jocelyn Delevingne

is anEnglish fashion model,

Health Canada did concur
With the EPA they did not demur
When the EPA needs a chauffeur
It's a Health Canada lackey they prefer

Tyrone Hayes, a biology
 professor at the University
 of California, Berkeley. Dr. Hayes'
 research has focused on the threat
 posed to frogs by pesticides and
the role of chemical pollution in the
 decline of amphibian species worldwide

New York City.Moss

in the early 1990s

.

                                                                                       Kermit the Frog

"What’s more, the
 EPA had disqualified
 from rule-making
consideration all
 but one study on
 the effect of Atrazine
on amphibians. The
 lone remaining study
was funded by Syngenta,
 the company that manufactures
 Atrazine. Most other
papers on Atrazine had found
 some connection between
 the chemical and adverse
 effects on amphibians.
The Syngenta-funded
study showed none."
